Appeal for sponsorship of an art competition and auction night for children living with cancer foundation in aid of twenty million naira (N20m) for medical equipments
The CHILDREN LIVING WITH CANCER FOUNDATION (CLWCF) is a non-governmental, non-profit making organization dedicated to the improvement of health and welfare of lives of those children living with cancer. The organization aims at assisting in many ways to alleviate and rekindle their hope.
To raise money for the achievement of this objective the organization is proposing an ART COMPETITION/GALA NIGHT in aid of Twenty Million Naira (N20m) only for procurement of Medical Equipments.
The Art Competition/Gala Night has the Deputy Governor of Lagos State His Excellency Mr. Femi Pedro as the Chief Host; is being organized in collaborations with FREON COMMUNICATIONS (an event management and image promotion organization) is slated to hold on 24th November 2006 at Federal Palace Hotel, 6-8, Ahmadu Bellow way, Victoria Island, Lagos by 10:00am morning and 7:30pm for the night session.

Auction Gala Night
The Auction covered on the night shall be widely varied ranging from stand-up comedians, special guest artiste appearance etc. The focus of the evening shall however be a lecture by some renowned pediatric oncologist, on the scourge of childhood cancer. There shall also be latitude for controlled audience participation, the overriding aims being to raise awareness of the children living with cancer and more importantly to raise money for the foundation.
The audience for the night shall be largely focused on medium/high net worth, businesspersons and professionals, diplomatic corps/expatriates and any other target groups. There shall be a gate-fee charged at the Gala Night, with all gate takings going to the Children Living With Cancer Foundation. There shall also be targeted invitation letters to be circulated among specific target group (i.e. corporate Bodies) with an invitation to attend the event and make donations to the foundation.
